I started my blog January 1, 2014. I have always loved writing and I wanted to do something different. So, that is exactly what I did. I tried something new and started my blog. I just dove in! Literally! I had never even read another blog before starting my own. Crazy, I know but I enjoy every minute of it!
I have a psychology degree and I have a background in ABA therapy and in rehabilitating victims of Sex Trafficking. I have years of experience working with trauma victims as I have my own testimony of getting out of a domestic violent situation. My passion is to work with teens, particularly teen pregnant girls. I was a pregnant teen and that has inspired me to share my story, and how perseverance, hard work, and diligence has helped me to become the person that I am today.
I am a mommy to a beautiful twelve year old boy and to a four year old dachshund dog. I am a wife to a wonderful and loving man. My husband is Mr. PBL on my blog. He occasionally writes for Positively Beautiful Life. We work on most of our DIY projects together. He is also my photographer and he does all of the behind the scene stuff for Positively Beautiful Life. I love God, my family, and friends. I believe life is a gift and try to cherish every moment of it!
I love fashion, taking pictures, traveling, and making things. I love to add my own personal touch. With that being said, I love to put things together and decorate! I may not always know what I am doing, but I am not afraid to try something new!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you come back! I love comments so please feel free to write a comment or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter.

I’ve never shave my legs. I was greatly blessed that I don’t grow hair on my legs. Thank God because I would look pretty gross! Lol!
I love to dance! I can dance to anything that has a good beat to it.
I talk with my hands way too much, but that’s me!
