This is no joke, my grandma’s banana pudding is famous! Anyone who tries this recipe loves it and they can’t get enough of it. My husband, (Mr.PBL) asked me to make my grandma’s recipe so he could bring it to work. Everyone loved it and even one of my husband’s co-workers paid me to make it for him on a continuous basis for several months.

I didn’t realize how easy it is to cook chicken until I tried it in my crockpot. A friend of mine who is a blogger at TheSoccerMomBlog treated me to one of her husband’s meals. It’s called the Baja Shrimp Stacks. I am not crazy about shrimp, but it was delicious! Our family loved it so much that we wanted to create something similar, but not with seafood. We eat ground turkey quite a bit so we thought why not try it with ground turkey and veggies? The recipe is different from the Baja Shrimp Stacks, but this way you have two recipes to choose from.
My favorite dish that I have been making since I was in college is Pasta Puglia. The first time I tried it, I was working at a mom and pop Italian restaurant. I was addicted from that day on. I learned how to make it at home, and I now add chicken and my own spices. My family absolutely loves this meal!
My grandma has been making chicken spaghetti for as long as I can remember. It was always very good and one of my favorite meals that she cooked. Years later, I found out that the proper name for it is Chicken Tetrazzini.
People ask me all the time, “where did you learn to cook?” I reply, “watching my grandma cook.” My grandma made cooking look like an art. She never measured anything, but she seemed to know just the right amount to put. I took after her because I don’t measure anything; I just feel it.
Several years ago I would go into the grocery store and pick up a whole chicken that was already cooked. I am sure you know which one I am talking about. It’s usually in the deli section. They have the chicken under heated lamps and you can choose from different flavors. I would get a whole chicken at least once a week. It was quick, convenient, and it fed all three of us.
