It is so hard for me to find time to exercise and just to stay healthy. I have a full time job keeping up with my blog, my son’s schoolwork, church, house duties, and etc. The list goes on and on. I noticed my health started to decline because I was sitting at my desk for most of the day. My hand would hurt and it would start to go numb. I then realized that I needed to make a change in my life. I didn’t want to pay the money to join a gym, so I started to make little changes in my routine. The results are amazing!

I have been having a hard time feeling good and energized throughout the day. I am a mom and a wife, I work, I clean, I do laundry, I run errands, and that’s on a regular basis. A lot depends on us women getting things done. By the end of the day I’m exhausted, especially when that time of the month comes along. Do any of you other women feel the same way?
I’m not sure if it’s because I am getting older or what, but I am always in pain, I feel bloated, I’m drained, and I just don’t feel like doing anything. I needed to do something different so I decided to do yoga in the morning. I can’t tell you the difference it’s made me feel.
I thought I would do something different for this post. I was thinking what would be a good way to have my readers (you) get to know me better. That’s when I thought about asking my mom to write a little bit about me. What better way to get to know me than through my mom? Well, she definitely wrote things that I would never normally share. This is my mom telling it all.
We were at the table when my husband, my son, and I were talking about our son’s day at school. Everything seemed to be going well. He started to tell us about a conversation that he had with a friend. That’s when our son said the 4 words that I will always remember. “I love Dad more”.
My mouth got really dry all of the sudden I could feel a lump in my throat. It took everything out of me to hold back the tears that were formulating in my eyes. I asked him why he felt that way. He said, “Dad and I have more in common. He just gets me”.
There is this beautiful lady who is a mom, wife, she is head of the PTA, she teaches Sunday school, she is a soccer mom, and she works part-time. She is a go-getter and she always has a smile on her face. She has dinner done and the table is set at 5pm on the dot. Her home is always clean, dishes are done, and laundry is folded and put up on a daily basis. She spends quality time with her children and husband everyday. She dresses nicely every day and she just has it all together. Wow, she seems utterly perfect, right?
I haven’t mentioned this very often but I have two sisters that are 15 years old and 21 years old. I also have a 10-year-old brother. My brother plays a special role in my life but that’s a whole other story that I may get into one day. I wanted to share a little bit about my sisters.
If you ask someone why they want a divorce or why they got a divorce. The answer goes something like this. I am no longer in love with him/her, or I can’t take the disrespect anymore, or he/she cheated on me. These are just some examples. People don’t normally think of them destroying their own marriage. Yes, it takes two people to make a marriage and two people to destroy a marriage. This is our story in how we were destroying our marriage without even knowing it.
Happy Thursday! This post is very unexpected. I was actually going to post my Christmas Home Tour for 2015 but something unexpected happened yesterday. If you follow me on social media then you know it’s been a rough month for me. You know the saying when it rains, it pours? Well, that’s how I feel like it’s been.
