It’s the Summer and we are almost in the middle of July when it gets extremely hot here in Texas. We always love to do things as a family so we thought, why not have a family lemonade stand? We created a lemonade stand that would be perfect for family gatherings, but also it can be converted into a hot chocolate stand, or whatever you would like.

For Printable Blue Prints Click Below:
Step 1 – Cut wood
- Plywood for top and bottom I used a table saw to cut them 36” by 15”
- Four 1 by 3 boards for the legs cut to 34 ½”
- Six cedar fence pickets cut to 36” for the front
- Use four of the left over fence pickets cut to 36” for the sides
- One fence picket or 1 by 6 on the top for the sign cut to 46”
- Two 2 by 2 pieces to hold the sign cut to 76”
Step 2 – Use the pocket hole tool to drill 2 holes on each side of the legs. Screw the legs to the top and bottom of the stand as shown in the picture.
Step 3 – Attach the pickets to the front and the sides of the stand.
Step 4 – Attach the 2 by 2 boards to the stand to hold the sign and attach the board for the sign at the top of it.
Step 5 – Attach the wheels to make it easier to move around.
Step 6 – Stain the wood.
Step 7 – Chalkboard paint on the sign so you can change the words and add your own flair.
Here is a picture if you want to turn it into a hot chocolate stand.
When it’s just us three or when our family and friends come over it’s a fiesta! We love to put on Tejano music and bailar la noche entera. This is a tradition that our family has been doing for generations.
An easy and delicious brand that we have been using for years is Minute Maid® Lemonade. We get our lemonade at our local Walmart store.
You can easily make all kinds of recipes with Minute Maid® Lemonade. That’s why I created my own drink recipe.
Non-Alcholic Lemon Mojito
You will need:
- Minute Maid® Lemonade
- Salt (optional)
I like salt, so I salt the rim of my cup by getting it wet with lime. I add my Minute Maid® Lemonade to the cup and 1 squeeze of lime. I then add some mint to garnish my cup. Lastly, a slice of lime on the rim tops off the presentation. I don’t know why, but drinks always seem to taste better when they are pretty (plus you can charge more for them, ha ha) Our son loves this recipe!
