I have been having a hard time feeling good and energized throughout the day. I am a mom and a wife, I work, I clean, I do laundry, I run errands, and that’s on a regular basis. A lot depends on us women getting things done. By the end of the day I’m exhausted, especially when that time of the month comes along. Do any of you other women feel the same way?
I’m not sure if it’s because I am getting older or what, but I am always in pain, I feel bloated, I’m drained, and I just don’t feel like doing anything. I needed to do something different so I decided to do yoga in the morning. I can’t tell you the difference it’s made me feel.
I don’t do a long routine. I do these 8 simple poses to stretch me out and believe it or not I feel energized afterwards. I hold each pose for about 10-15 seconds.
Pose 1. Child Pose
Pose 2. Bridge Pose
Pose 3. Warrior Pose (Bend both right and left leg)
Pose 4. Tree Pose (Switch legs)
Pose 5. Sitting right twist (Do left twist too)
Pose 6. Upward facing dog
Pose 7. Pigeon Pose (Do both legs)
Pose 8. Perfect Pose
This yoga routine really helps with my cramps and somehow I feel great all day. The only thing that worries me is leakage. That’s why I trust Stayfree® Pads. They are flexible, breathable, comfortable pads that move with your body and it keeps away moisture to keep you dry.

Advice from women
I do the 8 pose yoga routine in the morning. It helps me to start the day off right and to feel better. I always remember what my abuela says, “cuídate mas” (take care of yourself more) when it’s that time of the month.” So, I thought it would be great to ask other women what they do to feel better during that time of the month. This is what they said.
“I like to drink a healthy shake to get my day started.”
“I used to put a heating pad on my stomach.”
“I like to take a warm bath.”
“I like to take walks”
“I drink ginger tea to relieve some of the cramping.”
