This is no joke, my grandma’s banana pudding is famous! Anyone who tries this recipe loves it and they can’t get enough of it. My husband, (Mr.PBL) asked me to make my grandma’s recipe so he could bring it to work. Everyone loved it and even one of my husband’s co-workers paid me to make it for him on a continuous basis for several months.
You would think that banana pudding is easy to make and you can’t do much to mess it up. The truth is that not every recipe is the same, and my grandma’s recipe is very distinctive. I’ve got to be honest, I’m not crazy about banana pudding, but I love my grandma’s recipe! This is easy to make and takes hardly any time. It’s a great dessert to serve for parties. It also feeds a good amount of people.
Here is what you need:
1 large pkg. of instant vanilla mix
1 box of Nilla Wafers
1 can of Borden Eagle Brand Milk
8oz. of cream cheese
1 tub of whip cream
3 cups of milk
First step- I cut up the bananas into slices.
Second step- I mix together the vanilla mix, cream cheese, milk, and eagle milk in a bowl.
Third step- I layer with the cookies first, vanilla pudding, bananas, and then a second layer. I put the whip cream on top.
You are finished! It tastes better when the pudding is refrigerated for at least 1 hour but I like it to be refrigerated overnight.
