The Most Perfect Quaint Place In Kerrville Texas

I recently went to Kerrville Texas for the first time ever. I was born and raised in Texas, so there are no excuses why I shouldn’t have visited before. Kerrville is a charming town, and so is the quaint airbnb we stayed at. If you haven’t been to Kerrville I highly suggest visiting. A friend of mine Lauren from Toast From The Host invited me out along with some other blogger friends, Hurried Hostess, and Hello There Love.

Lauren is fabulous at hosting events and she did a great job at planning this trip. First take a look at the beautiful quaint airbnb we stayed at. When you walk inside the Garrett house you are in awe of how cute this quaint home is. The pictures are amazing, which were taken by: Stacey Anderson Photography, but you just have to be there to see it. Believe me, you won’t want to leave.

Things to do in Kerrville, Texas

Go biking– at the river trail, Louise Hays Park, Country State Natural area, and at Flat Rock Park in Comfort. We got our cute Townie bikes at Hill Country Bicycle Works.

Take a scenic walk– go to this website here and it will tell you all of the cool scenic places to walk at. The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden is such a beautiful garden on top of a high hilltop. The water flowing, and the music make it a very spiritual and calming experience.

Museums- There is the famous Schreiner Mansion which is a great educational experience where you can learn a little bit about Texas history.

Fun in the sun- Go kayaking, canoeing, fishing, tubing, and swimming in the Guadalupe River. You can also go to Kerrville-Schreiner Park.

Food– There are plenty of awesome places to get food. We loved starting are morning with getting a cup of coffee at PAX.

We enjoyed the historic building of Rails and the great food they had to offer there.

Grape Juice was a great wine bar with some amazing food. It’s a very relaxing and chill atmosphere.

For a lunch place we went to Francisco’s. This was a unique Mexican restaurant. The food was great and so was the service.

Some other great places are the Thai O’cha, The Lakehouse, Mary’s Tacos, and Bella Sera of Kerrville.

The experience was awesome and I can’t wait to go back in the summer. To read more posts like this go to: Our Staycation in Houston

  1. Hi Amanda,

I enjoyed reading this blog and am so happy you enjoyed your trip to Kerrville. It’s great to see that you had a positive experience in our community and our park system (the river trail, Louise Hays Park, and Kerrville-Schreiner Park). One correction though, Kerrville-Schreiner Park is a City park, not State. Visit us again soon!

    Thank you,
